Thursday Three will be looking at some great stuff available on the webs from talented WA folks plus a wee bit more info about each of the artists so you can really involve yourself in what's great about buying handmade. Knowing that your bag/necklace/book was NOT shipped twice around the world (wasting petrol), or the person who made it was paid more than a bowl of rice a day, really does help take the guilt away that sometimes comes from indulging in retail therapy.
Best of Friends Wooden Frame Brooch
This great little brooch was made by Perth artist Sheryl Derilo, and is one of a kind! Have a look at some more great cute stuff via her website

Pleated Corduroy Tote Bag
Handmade down south in beautiful Margaret River by Libby, this bag is nice and big (I happen to only use big bags unless I'm going out, which then I usually use one of my extensive collection of Glomesh) with heaps of room plus pockets for the little important things. Check out her blog for more about the designer!
