Made on the Left Christmas drinks

As you may know, Made on the Left has struggled to find a permanent home since the function room at the Hyde Park hotel was turned into a liquor store ;-( 140william was a fantastic location for our winter market but unfortunately it’s not available for our Xmas market like we had hoped.
However, we will be having a Xmas catch up with all you lovely people and we are on the search for a permanent new venue. 
We are also looking for new volunteers, especially in the areas of finance, blogging, marketing, sponsorship, PR or grant writing so if this interests you, we would love to meet you!
The MOTL Xmas drinks will be at the revamped Hyde Park Hotel, from 6pm Friday, 2nd December - it would be great if you can make it to share ideas, catch up with other crafters and have some great food and wine.

New Perth Markets - Good or a Bad thing?

E-mails have been flying around lately of new markets coming up & there have been murmurs of more markets on the way in various places around Perth. It is great news to see that so many people want to support local talent - but at the same time there are those of us who are concerned that Perth will be oversaturated with them. I mean there are only so many vendors who are ready to sell their goods to the public, and only so many ways that you can do so.

The difference between Made On The Left and every 'other' market is that we want to keep our markets full of fresh new talent by showcasing work from all levels of designers as well as travelling around Western Australia. Next year we hope to take our markets out of Perth into regional areas, so be prepared to be blown away by the talent hiding away in our state.

Don't forget our upcoming market is just over 2 weeks away!! Make sure that you put November 15th into your diary and pop on down to the Hyde Park Hotel on Bulwer St, North Perth between 10am and 4pm.

Second Market Date Confirmed!

We know you've been waiting for it, and we are very excited to announce the second Made On The Left Market!

The Made On The Left market will feature a wide array of Western Australian handmade art, jewellery, clothing and more. This is the perfect place to pick up pre-Christmas gifts, fantastic fashions and treasures from local makers.
