MADE ON THE LEFT was founded in 2008 by independent designers to support Western Australian creative talent. We hold bi-annual handmade craft markets to showcase local designers.

Being on the left hand side of Australia no longer

means you'll be at a disadvantage.

Our aim is to support all creative designers and events showcasing independent labels. MOTL is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organisation. You may wonder why we promote other markets besides MOTL; it’s because it’s not about us, its about you; the buyers and sellers of indie wares. Here at the blog, you’ll discover up to date information about our latest market, the low-down on some of Perth’s emerging talents, other opportunities for artists and designers and a little bit of fun stuff too. The Craft & Quilt Fair is on now with displays, exhibitions, workshops, make-and-take classes and retailers selling thousands of unique craft supplies.
Tickets includes entry to the QuiltWest Exhibition with quilts designed and made by members of the West Australian Quilters Association Inc.

When: Wednesday 22 May 22 to Sunday 26 May, 2013
Open 9am – 4:30pm daily

How much: Adults $16
Seniors Card holders $14
Children (from 5 to 16 years) $9, under 5 years free

You are invited to the opening of

stitched and bound 2010

a juried exhibition of contemporary quilts,

presented by the West Australian Quilters’ Association Inc.

To be opened by WA textile artist, Megan Kirwan-Ward

on Friday, 3 September 2010 at 6.00pm.

Exhibition runs from Saturday, 4 September to Sunday, 3 October 2010.
